We have a trip leaving on December 24th - 28th and have space for 2 people.


Starting of all trips we will stay at Pikes Lodge #907-456-4500 before
the trip leaves and when you get back.

It's your choice - mush for 5 miles or 6 days or anything in between We even offer longer trips on request. Just ask. If you would like a shorter or longer trip let us know and we will make it happen.
We have space for up to 3 people on the March 21st - 26th trip.

Overnight trips, we will mush 20 to 30 miles a day and stay in a cabin each night.
Alaska Trail King Adventures will supply 1 sleeping bag, 1 dogsled, 6 sled dogs, a map with our planned trip marked from start to finish, food, snacks and drinks for each person along with a guide for all trips. If you would like a custom trip, tell us what you want and we will check into it. We aim to please and remember all meals and snacks are included.

 

Mush the famous Yukon Quest trail on one of these 6-day trips.
February 10th - 15th, 18th - 23rd, 26th - March 2nd

Venture into Alaska's backcountry on one of these 6-day trips.
March 5th - 10th, 13th - 18th, 21st - 26th, 29th - April 3rd
• April 6th - 11th, depending on trail conditions

Here are some examples of the dog mushing tours we provide:

  • 1 day 5 hours of mushing , with snacks and hot drinks: $250. each, no minimum
  • 2 days 1 night - we will mush 20 to 30 miles a day and stay in a cabin: $500. each
  • 4 days 3 nights: $2000. each
  • 5 days 4 nights: $2300. each
  • 6 days 5 nights: $2700. each
  • 8 days 7 nights: $3000. each
  • 3 days 2 nights mushing trip: $1600. each

  • Custom Dog Sleds
    Alaska Trail King Adventures Sleds all custom built dogsleds, custom handle height, width and runner length. Recreation sleds to sprint and long distance racing sleds for the Yukon Quest and Iditarod.

    • Thermos bottle and water bottles, YOU WILL GET DEHYDRATED in the COLD
    • Warm hat or toque (wool, polar fleece, fur) balaclava or face mask
    • 2 pairs close fitting gloves (light wool, triangulated, polar fleece)
    • 2 pairs long underwear (top & bottom; polypropylene, cap Ilene, silk, wool blend)
    • 2 pairs long pants (wool, fleece, synthetic blend)
    • 1 pair insulated coveralls or ski pants
    • 2 long-sleeved shirts (flannel, wool or synthetic blend)
    • 2 warm wool sweaters or polar fleece tops
    • 4 to 6 pairs heavy weight wool socks
    • 2 pairs cap Ilene or polypropylene socks
    • Sweat pants and sweatshirt for sleeping
    • Sunglasses, pocket knife, waterproof matches (carry with you at all times)
    • Flashlight (small) and/or head lamp
    • Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, towel, medications, sun screen, lip balm
